I was very involved in guitar education for many years. I taught classroom guitar for the Clark County School District for 13 years at the middle school level. I had a three level program with 20-40 students per class. My Advanced class consistantly earned Superior ratings at our annual district guitar festival. Many of my students went on to be guitar majors at our district fine arts magnet hight school.
I also was a clinician for Teaching Guitar Workshops and lead summer workshops for music educators who wanted to add or enhance a school guitar program.
